In the previous posts I have focused on talking about foundations of your business. I want you to build asset so you can have a solid business you can rely on, and this post will focus on having a business mindset.

It’s extremely important that you create a system, and better a passive income system. One example is for example to have alist of buyers. It’s also extremely important that you are driven by a cause, a belief, a purpose – knowing your why. So people who believe what you believe, trust you more and thus buy more from you.

These thoughts are more about getting the right business mindset than just applying miracle solutions or “make money online” strategies. Sure, you want to make money online, you want to implement this technique, and that method. But this should be one part of your business, not THE business.

So I’d like you to pause for few seconds and think about your business strategy, instead of your make money online strategies.

What is your long term vision?

I could have said: want to make money online? How about building a business?

• Do you actually have a plan on achieving goals you have set, or do you know few online marketing methods that you keep repeating to make some money.
• How is your business organized? What are the different parts of your business that can run with minimal intervention (maybe someone run them for you)? Do you do everything yourself.
• Do you have a daily routine that keeps you moving towards your goals? Or is it not really defined yet?

That’s a lot of questions. And I know it’s not easy. Thus the importance of creating assets, and systems.

Focus on what works for you. If you’re getting started, focus on ONE thing, and make a system for this. Write down the steps to get the results you want. Execute the system over and over again. You’ll get datas that you can analyze and then improve your system.

Above all, define your long term vision, your dream lifestyle and you will start to design the steps to achieve it. What do you really want to do, and who do you really want to become? How do you plan to help others?

You must be ready to take risks and challenges. You have to accept, and embrace failure, so you can learn from it.

You want a profitable business, so you need to think strategically about GROWTH. That means progression. We all dream about getting a 6-figure check overnight. Dreaming is great, no doubt about that. This will eventually happen, for a reason. But not becaue of only dreaming. So if your target is unrealistic, shoot a little lower.

It’s better to keep moving even at baby steps than being paralyzed because your goal is too hard to achieve. So you may simply focus on getting your first client, or first subscriber. That’s just one. Now go grab that second one, and soon you’ll get 10, and 100…

So today, instead of reading or buying another new short term make money online strategy, read or buy a course or book on building a solid business and its assets. It’s important you acquire the knowledge of successful entrepreneurs. It has to do with business life, motivation, psychology and self improvement.
